Action Therapy Services is expanding our Shorewood office. We have acquired the space to the south of the clinic and will be starting the build-out very soon. The added space will make therapy sessions more comfortable and allow us to better serve our patients. We will also be starting exercise and fitness classes as well as holding educational seminars in our new space! Watch more information on this in the next couple months. Please let us know if there is a specific kind of class you would be interested in seeing us offer.
Special Programs at Action Therapy Services
 Action Therapy Services recently acquired new cardio equipment from SciFit, a leader in the industry. This equipment allows us to monitor your heart rate, speed, and level of resistance during treatment and record the results into a computer based system. Therapists are able to program the heart rate you should be working at so it takes the guess work out for the patient. We can then print reports for your physician or yourself which documents your improved cardiovascular endurance.
Community News
Action Therapy Services recently sponsored the Plainfield Harvest 5k Run/Walk. There were over 650 participants this year! The event was held to raise money for different area charities. Action Therapy staff provided pre and post race stretching as well as information about staying healthy and preventing injuries while participating in sport & exercise.
